Recreation Resources

Brant Beach is very fortunate to be the home of three large organizations that offer recreational opportunities.

The Long Beach Township Municipal Complex and Bayview Park on 68th Street offer outdoor pickleball, bocce, and basketball courts, a dog park, a guarded bay beach, a playground, and kayak, windsurfer and paddleboard rentals. Free summer concerts on the beach at 68th Street feature popular bands, firepits, and beer vendors. A large covered pavilion and an ocean viewing platform provide relaxation areas. Although the Township is divided into four noncontiguous land areas, Brant Beach is the home of the municipal headquarters and the majority of the Township amenities.

The St. Francis Community Center on 47th Street was built in 1972, largely on land reclaimed from the bay. It offers a glass-enclosed aquatic center with a heated indoor heated pool, two heated outdoor pools, pre-school and childcare programs, summer camps, a regulation gymnasium, swimming lessons, exercise classes, yoga, lifeguard training, indoor pickleball and basketball, senior services, counseling services, and family support services.

The Brant Beach Yacht Club is a private club founded in 1947 on the bayfront between 59th and 65th Street that offers sailing, boating, tennis, children’s summer programs, and social activities. Many of its members are Brant Beach residents. Youth and adult sailors from BBYC are well represented at the highest levels of competitive sailing.
