Mid May Update
LBT Chief of Police Anthony Deely retired and the new Chief, Kevin Mahon, was sworn in on Monday.
All restaurants will be permitted to have outdoor seating as was permitted last year. Indoor dining is permitted as long as physical distancing is observed. The total capacity (inside & out) cannot exceed the pre covid capacity for the restaurant.
Township speed limits will be reduced on May 12th thru 14th for the Summer season.
Traffic lights will resume normal function on May 24th.
Town-Wide Yard Sale is planned for May 22nd from 8 AM to 9 PM. To participate, complete license form available on LBT Web Site events calendar. Return form with $10 to LBT.
Also at the Township meeting, there was a first reading of an ordinance amending Township code. It will create a zoning prohibition of any class of cannabis business in the Township.
There will be an “In-person” BBHO membership meeting for all on Saturday, June 12th at 10 am in the Township building on 68th Street. (Distancing and masks will be required.)
